Managua is a strange and chaotic city. Growing constantly without any structure. Nobody would call it a pretty place. The hidden treasure of the city is its people. They are friendly, unique and full of stories. Here a selection of portraits of special managuan characters.

RURAL NICARAGUANS
The Nicaraguans are very photogenic people who enjoy it when somebody takes a picture of them. Especially in small villages and rural areas the people are still very natural. The following photos document their daily life.

CATALOGUE EXPOSITION
This catalogue designed in newspaper style, was created for the artist Ernesto Salmeron who won the central american Biannual Art Exhibition in 2006. The print product was also integrated into the performance of the artist in Venice Biannual Art Exhibiton 2007.
