CULTURE AND GASTRONOMY
For the Verein “Kultur und Gastronomie” was to create a brand, that communicates the interests of the many gastronomic and cultural Betriebe of the city of Basel.
The brand shows the connection between night, culture and gastronomy, and in a more abstract manner contents like social exchange, liberty of space and joy of life.
The black background stands for night, and the glass symbolises gastronomy in general. The star stands for quality in gastronomy, for light that’s still on at nighttimes and is a system for orientation.

CD REGELINDIS WESTPHAL
For the design bureau Regelindis Whestphal was to create a corporate design. The layout shows an open book with blank pages, which symbolises that the bureau is specialised in designing books. For the design only two colours are used. The mix of both of them creates the different shades of yellow, blue and green.
